Becky RetirementCornelius & Collins’  Firm Administrator, Becky Francis retired on July 31 after 10 years with the firm.    The C&C family appreciate Becky’s many contributions to the firm in both the day-to-day responsibilities and guiding the firm through many changes.  During Becky’s tenure at C&C, she helped the firm manage and adapt through the Covid lockdown and coordinated our move into our new office on Athens Way.

Becky says she will miss her C&C family, but she will not miss driving through rush hour traffic into Nashville.   Becky always made sure to keep a full candy dish at her desk for both expected and unexpected visitors. Becky recalls one afternoon when she heard a crinkling noise behind her monitor.  When she investigated, she was surprised by a fluffy grey ball of fur running behind her desk. Becky immediately followed the chain of command and somewhat excitedly told the managing partner “there is a mouse in my office”.   The uninvited visitor was quickly captured and taken outdoors.  Returning to her desk, Becky found a candy wrapper behind the monitor.  Always a problem solver, Becky replaced her open candy dish with a candy dish with a lid. She was not ever able to keep the rest of us out of the candy dish or the homemade salsa she would make for us from her garden bounty.

We are sad to see Becky go as much as we are happy for her new chapter. Becky is looking forward to spending more time with her ever growing family as well as sewing, cross-stitching, reading, and growing vegetables in her garden.  Hopefully, she will continue to bring her homemade salsa to the office when she comes to visit.  We thank her sincerely for a great 10 years!
